Hi guys, we enjoyed the night last night & hope everyone else did. Interest was voiced in doing it again & we are open to suggestions for when & where. Always happywith Moon & Sixpence as it is good for easy access, Print Hall roof bar was also mentioned & is only a 100 yards away & Lucky Shag bar also suggested. We have never had a drink in Joondalup either but unsure if there’s a convenient venue there where everyone can easily get to. I am allergic to staying in onSaturday night so unless we already have other arrangements we will usually go out somewhere & happy to try new places.

Hi All,

does anyone fancy a re run at the Moon & Sixpence a week on Saturday (7th June, I think) 7.30 pm as last time if okay. We have something on the following week so can't make that one. I'm stuck in sunny Karratha at the moment and ready for a beer !!

Have not had a chance to get back on forum since the last meet as no internet in our new home until today. Was a really good night and met lots of lovely people. Is the next one on 7th June exclusive for first time meet oldies or can I invite some other aus newbies looking to meet new friends? Paul and I will be there, :jiggy:

Wife was taking about going for Chinese again first, she's found this odd little oriental cafe that does fantastic food.

I ignored this thread as I thought "older" Brits would be much older than me and hubby but it looks like lots if you are similar ages (at least to me!!) Trouble is our kids are only 8 and 9 and I doubt we could bring them. If we can get get a babysitter we may come.

Where are you meeting at 7pm?

Give us a text if you go earlier and eating, not sure of how day will plan out, but if we are free earlier may join you for eats (if you don't mind lol).

Hi Lou, Venue not suitable for kids in evening, so don't bring them to this meet, but obviously may be other opps another time for families. Mixed age group last time we all meet, from 38 to 50?? Basically was a good evening, ages don't matter unless you too young to get the drinks in lol.

Look forward to meeting you if you can get there. Most of us get there between 7 and 8pm.

See you then??

Just found out we've been invited to friends as it's their little girls birthday so unlikely we'll make it. Maybe next time
