Oh really, hope you have a good night, my daughter spent a month back in Leeds in March.

We live about 17 miles outside Leeds .

Had a good night, now on countdown, shippers in next week, off to Austria next weekend for some summer skiing on a glacier, back home with no fixed abode then flight out hopefully on 11th July to perth. Happy days with some emotional goodbyes

I didn't think it was too bad Nikki when I looked....skiing is unfortunately expensive! We've talked about going skiing if we visit family back in the UK during the January school holidays. You can always get some really good deals in the Alps for the third week in January.

It's flippin expensive though Stu. We looked into it to try and get a fix -jeez a couple of days for a grand and there's no travel included.

Japan's cheaper but resorts are limited.

Still trying to suss out NZ

we could build an Xscape in Perth (indoor ski slope)

I always found indoors really good for getting your ski legs back before you went away. Saved that whole first day back on the slopes feeling. And for those times that you couldn't get away it was just nice to have a fix.

The though of kite surfing scares me a little. I'm only small and have been on the end of one of those kites on land. Not keen to repeat the ordeal on surf, which just adds another uncontrollable element.

I'll stick to stand up paddleboarding thanks. Not that I've done much of that since being here either!

hello! No, waiting for house contract to be signed. May be in couple of weeks, then feel safe to book. Provisional date is 12 august as flights cheaper then! How's everything going with you?

Hi, that's great. It's a bit of a nightmare organising everything isn't it. Glad school working out for Kieran, sounds like a lovely school from what people said on here :)
