fifi69
We are moving out of our rental after 2 years. The agents have given us a list of "recommended cleaners" while I'm happy to pay for carpets cleaning and windows, the actually clean I'm quite sure I can organise myself. have you found it easier just to use the recommended cleaners, what cost for a single story 4 x 2 ? just to know you can get your bond back. What did you pay anything else I should be aware off. thanks from someone excited to own their own home xx
Give me a break!
Hi Fifi I did all my own cleaning but not the carpet cleaning because in the lease agreement it did say we had to use theirs. Hope its all going well.

Weedolly
I wouldnt use their recommended cleaners either, no need, probably the estate agents cousin haha! I have cleaned 3 rentals myself and got full bond back, you definately need to have the carpets professionally cleaned though, that will be in your lease and they will ask for the receipt. liloharry
I'm moving on Monday, doing my own vacate clean, always have done. Getting carpets cleaned professionally and having it fumigated. I wouldn't pay anyone to do a vacate clean.
Bibbs
Personally cleaned all the walls and surfaces (Pollyfiller & magic squares are a life saver). Got the professionals in for the carpet/oven/glass. Used our own people.

Bibbs
http://www.chux.com.au/the-chux-range/chux-magic-eraser-range/magic-eraser-hard-surface-cleaner-8pk/index.html Them's the puppies. It's just a cleaning sponge, and white paint, and a sander in one. You wet it and rub on a wall, and it removes the marks and leaves a faint flat white colour behind. It removed dog paw prints from walls, nail varnish scratches from light switches, wine splatters on skirting, wood marks from the bed on the wall .. I pretty much did the entire apartment. I'd never heard of them, but 2 packs and it did everything.
