elfie
How is everyone coping with the wet and windy weather and how are you all keeping warm. I think I am truly acclimatized now. The gas fire we purchased a couple of weeks ago is worthless as the windows and patio doors have whistling wind the blinds actually move. So the good idea of moving rooms and getting a gas fire was pointless. Its back with the reverse cycle air con today for me I am afraid, t shirt hoodie and my trusty fluffy dressing gown and trackie bottoms socks and Lapland winter slipper boots from Tesco. This is absolutely ridiculous I have to say I have turned into a wimp in the last 2 years regarding the cold. The dog had a 20 min trot around the park and back today and is on the sofa wrapped in a blanket I shall be shortly joining her with my blanket ............................. Dear god was in Freo yesterday in a t shirt and jeans and was too hot ...............................

Druid
Think you bought the wrong gas fire This is a brigadier seven bar, even with all the draughty windows and doors still makes for a toasty lounge, the drying dog was passed out in front of it until I decided to take the piccie. They say they went a party yesterday and playing outside, really it like our normal summer here It's crazy how quickly it can change. Though even on the coldest of days if we remember to go outside it's usually warmer than inside!! Having said that, on a nice day you have to pinch yourself to remind yourself it's winter! I guess as it's our first winter we're still a bit green in that respect! Enjoy the match !

alana rose
i'm really struggling with the cold. It's not too bad outside (on a horrible day) but inside is FREEZING!! Is there a reason why they don't have central heating here? Coz it's definately cold enough for it!!
