Wel I must say our Christmas has been fab!!!!!!

All the family, food and drinks and happy times, no real hard crying till last 10 mins. So, ready to go to bed now ( even tho there is no way I'll be able to sleep) and it will all be here in the morning, what we have been planning for nearly 18 months and thinking about for 4 years!!! The kids will be ticking off the chart '1 more sleep' tomorrow and no more countdowns.

We will not be alone on this journey as you @funkft will be the same right now and also @Sideshowdeb is not far behind us, can't wait for our meet ups and will be informing the meetings co-ordinator @Lou8670 to get planning once we get there heehee xx

Nearly here now isn't it. We've found things have been going quite well until a couple of days ago, now it's all a bit rushed. Feels like we are taking far too many suitcases and in hindsight we could have put far more clothes on the container

will keep an eye out for @Roadhouse in the airport

good luck all!

How are you finding life in Perth

We are here and a week into the adventure. It feels like a whirlwind. We have a lovely rental a street away from Mullaloo Beach which is a lovely area. The children are at school and still settling in. We have spent our time looking on gum tree and shops for furniture, looking for a car today. The paperwork makes my head spin, but we have managed to apply for our medicare tax number, working with children and police checks, register with the bank and sort out our rental agreement. So we are at least in one place for the next 6 months.

It has been cold in the evening and raining often. So we are very much looking forward to Spring at the start of September. More to follow. :)

Hi,

Not long left to go now! 13 days until we fly to Perth.

we are starting out in Mullaloo for a month until we decide where we want to continue living :)

Feels very surreal at the moment. Im having major issues with fitting everything in suitcases too lol.

is there anything people would recommend bringing as i hear its expensive for certain things, so would rather bring them out with us?

Also, if there are any others in our situation or want to meet out there?

I will be coming over with my husband, little girl age 3 and little boy age 1. x

Are you looking forward to the flight? I am abit nervous how my girls will be 3.5 years old and 14 months, she jut wants to walk all the time now, ha xxxx
