Green packets are Walkers

Sorry but Walkers are a poor substitute for Golden Wonder or Smiths, and they are also wrong

Salt and vinegar are blue packets, green are cheese and onion, just another reason Walkers are grim

Also CC's are soo much better than Doritos

Heinz beans and sausages in a black tin is a bit odd though

Indicators on the right????? (How many others had the cleanest windscreen in the street as it was wiped down at every turn!!)

and what's going on with the red end bananas???

We've got one car with them on the right and one where they're still on the left.

Now that gets confusing! I went to flash someone through the other day and got a jet of water instead. They were fairly close and I could see them laughing!!

I've just been transported back to the indicator issue but in reverse. Got used to them being on the right after 9 years of driving a Mazda and a Toyota. My 16 year old has just bought a VW Golf and driving it home yesterday was hilarious, wipers were going mental!!

I agree - I grew up with cheese and onion being green packets and then walkers had to go against the grain didn't they!

I don't think even walkers would have the audacity to stick a pink packaging on anything other than prawn cocktail though

Ooh where's that. Knowing my luck it's in Mandurah!!

Ha ha, you're right, I think there is a shop here in Mandurah that sell skips. I'm hoping to be at Lou's meet on 31st August, if you'll be coming I can bring you some if you like?

I bought the kids some chicken crimpy biscuits the other day thinking they were mini cheddars because they were in a yellow box

Bacon...since when did it look liked a pack of cooked ham???

Bacon cracks me up as well, what I would give for a packet of 'raw' bacon & not cured bacon, the best I have found is the dorsodogne streaky bacon, everything else cooks up like rubber, the aforementioned is very tasty :biglaugh:

Yes we thought that when we came over, beet root was my craving with my eldest used to eat jars of it, so I loved the burgers :cute:

You try finding a jar of pickled beetroot though. The Aussies love it, but it's in tins in water in the supermarket, the only pickled beetroot you can get is the imported stuff from the UK

Go to either Coles or IGA and look for McLaughlins Irish bacon. More expensive but just like bacon from home.

Much prefer the tinned stuff. Only ever got the cooked ones in the UK. But then I hate pickled anything!!

Wipers on the right is generally from cars from Europe. They don't bother to swap them when the wheel housing is moved over as it's too expensive.

In a right hand drive car, the indicators are on the right, so you can change gear, and indicate at the same time.

As we are mainly local, or Japanese cars here (who also drive on the correct side of the road) most the cars are setup correctly.

EDIT - to add, the red tips are a 'brand' or trademark for a company growing the top quality bananas.
