verystormy
I know lots of us like a good curry and struggle in Perth to find one. I made this the other week and it was pretty good. Making it again today. http://allrecipes.com.au/recipe/8629/my-favourite-lamb-madras-curry.aspx
midwife momma
I make a butter chicken, you can make it as mild or as spicy as you like: 2 tsp ground coriander 2 tsp garam masala 1 tsp ground cumin 5-10 cardomom pods 2 tsp salt tomato puree 3 large tablespoons chilli powder to taste ( I use around 1 tsp) plain yoghurt 1/2 large tub ( 200mls?) add all above ingredients to around 500-750g chicken breast / thigh diced marinate for a few hours slice 2 onions and slowly fry in 100g butter and a couple tbs oil until golden add the chicken mixture and fry off for around 5 minutes, then add 500mls water an simmer for 40 mins until the curry is quite thick. to finish add a swirl of single cream ( 100mls) plus chopped fresh coriander serve delicious mmmmm this is making me hungry on my night shift
beandownunder
I cheated yesterday and made a chicken balti with a jar from Aldi, it had a spice powder you use first then the sauce and it was delish! and I make no apologies ;-)
