Shirleyt
No wonder I couldn't catch you up, you must have been down on the beach. I saw the aeroplane and helicopter but was in a rush to catch you up as I was really late. I'll catch you in 2 weeks, gutted to have missed out on the fit blokes but then again I'm old enough to be their mother!

Akasully2
Shirley, so sorry we missed you. We waited for 15 mins then decided you had probably given it a miss. Send me a PM with your mobile number, that way we can have a back up contact. As for photo evidence, sorry, no. However, it is as clear as day in my mind. I think it will be etched there for sometime! Their ages ranged but they certainly weren't little boys. The one I chatted too was in his 40's. A cheeky, friendly chappie. Yes sorry about that , I was running really late after stopping for petrol then got held up in traffic on the coast road. I'll send you my number. They must have the real men in the Army and the boys in the Navy as we went to the open day at Freemantle last weekend and the average age was about 20! I felt ancient ! Akasully2
Hi Jot1974, yes we are walking tomorrow. The pressures of Christmas are a strong distraction but we are going for it. It will make a welcome change from thinking about presents and end of term stuff that needs to be done! I'm glad you joined. See you tomorrow. What do you look like? Oz Dollar
Hi When do you start the walk again? How many of you go on this walk? Is it a fast walk or steady pace? Julie
Lou8670
Knowing some of these lovely ladies I would say it's fast talking and steady pace
Akasully2
Hi Julie. @Lou8670 knows us well, spot on! The number varies from 2-8 depending who turns up. The pace is purposeful and consistent without power walking. We encourage the slower dordlers to get their fingers out but with a bit of gentle encouragement. (I'm sure they know who they are!) Nattering and catching up is just as, maybe even more important than the walking. Good friendships have been formed during these walks. Newbies are welcome and will be thoroughly interrogated to find out all we can about you. Haha, no really, not that bad but we do like to find out what brought you here and how you are getting on. Distance - from Mullaloo to Hillarys Boat Harbour and back again, or a similar distance elsewhere. Time - starts 9:30am and lasts 2 -2.5 hours. Bring water, hat and a willingness to chat. Did I miss anything?? Oh yes, starting this Thursday, 5/2/15. Oh, if you're very lucky, you get to see Action Men dropping out of the sky or changing out of their parachute suits. Now that really is a treat! If you are coming, let us know and we'll look out for you. Edited February 3, 2015 by Akasully2
