Raychelsb
HI All My husband has just bought a smart tv in Perth, and is hoping to get something like an Apple tv box to hook up some tv on demand films etc. He also has a WII out there which we have always used to get Netflix at home. Is it possible to get Netflix UK over there? I have seen loads of articles on how to trick your device to think it is in the USA, but we would like UK Netflix. Any other hints or tips for good tv packages would be appreciated. We don't want to subscribe to anything like Foxtel as we don't watch that much tv, it would just be nice to have access to movies every now and then, and a few UK tv shows. Thanks! bugsyburrell
Best way, and only way, is to get a VPN service. We use unblockus, you have to pay $5 a month but you can set it to UK, USA and a host of other countries around the world:)
TreeHugger
Ditto to Bugsy. We use Unblock us. As they say, only $5 a month and you can choose your Netflix region (UK v US) and change it to suit. We also use it to get BBC iPlayer, 4OD, Sky NOW TV etc. Works on our smart TV (Samsung), AppleTV, iPad and laptop. Only down side is now I still have to watch British Bakeoff! Druid
We just signed up with Hola, it's free and seems to work, we don't have the best internet connection either, Google it and give it a go, it's free
