Areas around peel health campus?

Hi everyone! Wondered if anyone could shed some light on nice areas to live around the peel health campus, this is where I hopefully will be working so want to live close for a short commute, I've got 2 little children so a nice primary is important and park/activities locally. I've looked on realestate.comau and areas that seem affordable to us are Lakelands meadow springs secret harbour a bit further out. Green fields rental prices seem rather cheap wondered if this wasn't such a "desirable" area? And info massively appreciated!

I don't think Greenfields is as desirable as other areas which is reflected in the rental prices.

Meadow Springs and Secret Harbour are nice suburbs for young families. Halls Head and Seascapes are also nice areas to live.

Have a look at http://www.bettereducation.com.au and http://www.det.wa.edu.au/schoolsonline. They'll give you an idea of how the schools are performing in those areas.

My kids are at Secret Harbour Primary School. It's a lovely school and they've settled in well. The senior school, Comet Bay, is gaining a very good reputation in the area. I have another child at private school in Mandurah which is always another option.

You should probably look at high school performance results as well as primary so you ensure they feed into a good school.

hi, I I agree with Lou. Greenfields is not where I would like to live with children. Try halls head, dawesville, meadow springs and Falcon. They are all lovely. They are only about 10 mins drive away and the primary schools are all lovely in those areas. All the areas have great parks, if fact they are round every corner. We live in Seascapes and are still finding new ones!
