JasonM
We loved mulalloo beach too, was thinking about having a bbq at the park today while being back in freezing Blighty. Can't wait until we get over visa and can get back over.

louisef
Hi Nancy - we got down there at about 9 30 - the atmosphere was fantastic and I had my first swim in the Ocean since we arrived - it was Beauts ! But we didn't see the Dolphins - how amazing : ) We live in the older part of Mullaloo - where abouts are you ?
Nancy
Louise you must just have missed them we were there at 8 and left just about 10, never managed a dip in the sea, that was our first visit to the beach, so hopefully next time, we're just up in carramar.x
Akasully2
We were there too but got there at 12pm. It was rammed, never seen so many cars parked on whatever piece of land they could find, even front gardens by the look of it. I'd say 1/3 of people had a Christmas hat on and from where we sat, 80% plus, were british judging by the accents. People even brought Christmas decs to put up in their gazebos on the grassland. Thinned out by 2pm, guess went home for the turkey. Excellent first Oz Christmas!

louisef
Glad you had a good one Sully ! And thanks Ann - Yep I can definitely get used to hot Christmas's from now on - its been lovely and relaxed. And Nancy you had beginners luck : ) You might fancy joining a few of us for a Mullaloo walk & natter when the kids go back to school - Im pretty sure its all pram friendly down the coastal path. There is another lady from Carramar too x
