itchyfeet
Haven't been on here for a long time as decided what was the point in continuing when hubby was diagnosed with chrones. But just can't lose the feeling. We were getting there had my skills assessed and passed was just about to do eoi when hubby got admitted. Is it possible still or are we just dreaming? Any advise would be great. Thanks.
verystormy
You need to speak to a specialist agent that deals with visas that have medical complications. The best in the business is George Lombard

Lou8670
A friend of mine emigrated here last year and I believe she has chrones. I'm not sure what she had to do to get her visa; all I know is she's here so it isn't a flat no just because you have chrones. I would think you'll need further medicals and they'll look at how severe your condition is at present in determining whether you'll be an immediate burden on the Australian health system. Definitely speak to a good migration agent who has experience in this area. I could ask her if she used an agent and who she used if you like? Lou8670
Apparently she hasn't had any problems in the last 15 years so it wasn't an issue. She said just be truthful about everything and if you haven't had any medical issues you'll probably be ok. She said it's been complicated getting life insurance here though.
