frosties
I've finally booked our tickets this morning but somehow have cocked up the times we now arrive Perth 1.30 in the morning and all the car rental places are closed from 2am til 6am..... any ideas, I wont be very popular if we have to hang around the airport until 6. Any suggestions will be very much appreciated
JasonM
We went to airport apartments as they collect you from the airport, we then got a cab to Bayswater in the morning. If you ask air port apartments they will get you in some groceries and charge you but at least you will have some stuff.
annjean
Can you not get a taxi to take you to your destination?
realitynotincluded
Where are you hoping to get to when you land? If you know you can roughly work out how much it would cost by cab here. <Dan>
Hire cars are open at that time as ive done it twice. Although as said above, get taxi to where you are staying, then the next day get taxi to Bayswater. Rental will be at least 40% cheaper but you dont get stung for insurance fees they hard sell you when you pick up the car. We hired a new Rav 4 for 10 days, two drivers and no excess for $560 or something.
frosties
Thanks everyone. I did manage to find Burswood car rentals they leave the car in the car park for an extra fee of $30 but I have also managed to change my flights with no charges so we arrive in the afternoon. But other than the drop off fee they didn't seem too expensive, very good reviews.
kimeri
I don't think that is necessarily true. I rented with hertz at Perth airport, 410$ for 9 days, Hyundai SUV for family of 5. I did book 4 months in advance, and from hertz France. I think I remember seeing a difference depending from which country you book from. No taxi, and they were open when we arrived at 01.30 am.
