Guest Guest6235
We went into Godfreys today down Joondalup drive and we were hit with a pushy Greek salesman/manager who said the vacuum cleaners we were looking at were not very good and you should be going for the $500 cleaners, we let him spin us more crap before we left. We then went into the Whitfords Godfreys and amazingly again another salesman, almost threatening basically said the same as the other guy. He said all the level 1 & 2 cleaners are not very good and to get your value for money need to be going for the top of range cleaners. I asked him why they sell those other cleaners if they're rubbish, he said well get one if you don't want it to last!!!. Again we walked out. On the plus side today we sorted out a fridge freezer & a washing machine. Firstly we walked into the good guys and haggled nearly a couple of hundred off the combined price so we said we'd walk round and think about it, we then walked next door to Harvey Norman and for the same two appliances got a further 100 off what we were getting at Good guys. Druid
We bought a cheapo carpet cleaner from Godreys when our UK VAX finally went up in smoke after many years of picking up dog hairs, we burnt it out in the first fifteen minutes of use, took it back and upgraded to a smaller VAX at stupid money compared to UK prices, so yes, pointless buying cheap chinese **** and yes, the salesman are pushy, we recently bought a dishwasher from Goodguys, couldnt beat their price anywhere, im a bit wary of Harvey Norman, they have a strange returns/brakedown policy, our brand new dishwasher from the goodguys was a dud, they changed it out instantly no problem, not sure Harvey Norman would be so helpfull
