Scotty
Hi everyone, This might be a bit of a silly question but should I use my middle name for all applications? Currently typing my competency development report and realised some of my certificates have my middle name and some do not. I hardly ever use my middle name but it is on my passport and driving licence. I assume it is quite common but just wondered what other people have done? This might sound a bit trivial but I do not want to encounter anymore setbacks. Thanks
ali
I would say yes if it's indicated in your certificates etc., adds an extra layer of authenticity.
Scotty
I would say yes if it's indicated in your certificates etc., adds an extra layer of authenticity. Well it is on some of my certificates so I am going to include it. I am sure they must understand that people do not always use their middle name. I will include mine in all my applications though so it matches my passport.

Give me a break!
I thought if you get asked for your full name you use it always? I don't have one though tbf
flatpack
Does it say given name or given name(s)? If it's name(s) you should definitely include your middle name but if it asks for your given name you don't have to. That is how had it explained to me and it made sense to me so I follow it.
