Good coffee anywhere

Anybody know where a place NOR is to go and get a good cup of coffee when we're out and about? We've been in the popular one that dominates most areas and a few others around shopping centres, also the cafés at Jindalee and Burns beach and I find all the white coffee's all taste the same with no different strengths or shades of darkness to them.

Do you all like them?

Whats good or bad about any of them?

Whats your favourite site?

How would you improve them?

Best replies gets free coffee and cakes when I am up and running!

I can't remember the name of the large shopping centre maybe Westfield centre ? on mullaroo road just below kallaroo, there is a cafe in the centre the sign is blue, sorry for it being vague but was back in November. The coffee was lovely.

Appreciate you taking the time to reply, I bet someone on here will know, a challenge for someone...

I don't really venture too far NOR so can't recommend anywhere in particular, but anywhere serving 5 senses coffee beans has always been a hit with me and has stood out as a really nice coffee.

@rpakey Muzz buzz does not do it for me. Have only been there once and won't bother again, the kids didn't like the milkshakes, and coffee through a straw, no thanks, not for me. All the best wishes for a successful business for you though if you do decide to go ahead with it :)

Jamaica Blue that was the coffee, was the first cup of coffee we had the day we landed so may have added to it but it was very nice, food wasnt too bad either, i just didnt and still done like the goldfish effect when you site at them sort of places, feel the same in the UK.

Never been a lover of Dome or Coffee Club as their coffee is so bland and tasteless. Jamaica Blue is OK and up from Dome, but nothing special. I do love a strong taste to coffee and when I worked in East Perth used to have a daily visit to the Lavazza coffee place on Royal St.... so much so I now have a Lavazza machine at home. However I do like to go out for coffee too so I have been trying various places of late - I like MuzBuz coffee, but when I go out for coffee I like to sit in a cafe and not slurp it through a straw in my car. I have had a couple of coffees recently at Antz Inyer Pantz in East Vic Park and they are soooo good. It is a small individually owned coffee shop and is always busy and buzzing whatever time of day you go in. Glad I live close to them really.

re Muzz Buzz, go and check out Stirling Highway in Mosman Park/Cottesloe. There are two drive through coffee places next to each other and Muzzbuzz is always empty compared to the other one. I have tried them both and prefer the other one and also avoid Muzzbuzz, I always notice the difference as I drive past. It's not just my preference - check out the competition and try them both. I would be wary of buying into Muzzbuzz from just seeing this.

If you want a good benchmark then try Hush in Freo. I was never a coffee drinker in London though I was spoilt by The Monmouth Street coffee shop but when I cam here I was an instant convert. The coffee at Hush is awesome and although SOR it will give you a great baseline upon which to measure every one after.

If you need one on the go then Rubra on Carrington is worth a visit if you're around this neck of the woods.

In their defence, and not just saying this because, but Rob pours a mean Soya flat white at his place in Butler. The Dome blend is a bit middle of the road but they do a good job of it and I'd happily sit on the lake and have a couple in the company of him and his lovely family.

Thanks for the tip about Hush in Freo, Porty. Where are they as I would love to give them a go next time I am there.....

I wasn't meaning to knock all Dome Cafes when I made my comment about their coffee, but I have had some decidedly lacklustre meals and inferior coffee at more than a few of the stores (Kalamunda, the International Airport Terminal and Cappy Strip Freo come to mind instantly), but I am always up for a something new, so next time I am in Rob's area, I will trot along and give him the "Rossy-Test"..... The view alone looks worth it!

After others mentioning Muzz Buzz and the 'drinking coffee through a straw' I actually thought I would give it a go yesterday as I was driving past the Whitfords one. Low and behold they do for some strange reason put a straw in your coffee! In fairness the coffee wasn't too bad, pretty strong too and the free mini cookies were a nice touch
