NaomiB
Hi there, We have just moved to Karrinyup in Perth from Woking and have been here for just under 3 weeks. We are in our late 30's and early 40's and have a girl of 4 and twins of 6 months. Little girl starts Kindy tomorrow and is feeling very anxious about it as she has no friends here yet. We are feeling quite overwhelmed and would love to make some new friends. Thanks.

Bibbs
Hello from a fellow southerner (lived in Reading and Fleet for 20ish years). As I said on the other forum, head down to Scarbs beach on a clear evening for sunset. All the bars will be rammed so go and speak to people. NaomiB
Kindy went well today thank you, she still said she wants to go back to England and to her school there but she did say she liked the teacher here, so that is good. Thanks Bibbs for the suggestion, probably meeting in the park in the day for a coffee and chat and somewhere for the kids to play is more me if anyone is up for that? portlaunay
Welcome to PP and to Perth. Mrs p is also from Woking, well, St John's. We've been here four years and if you've not yet been down to Freo we can recommend the Sunset Markets at Bathers Beach on Saturdays. We're generally there every week and happy to meet up if you can make the trek down?

louisef
FYI - Yanchep is near to Jindalee Jindalee is only 10mins away from Joodalup, which is only 10 mins away from Mullaloo - haha this has been my mantra this week (as the moving from Mullaloo to Jindalee decision process had been as agonising at times as the moving to the other side of world - Ridiculous Really !) But yes Id be up for a coffee in Yanchep sometime soon : )
