sawdoctor
so why would you bother to drink one pint per 3 month ?
jac2011
One bottle of wine approx once every 2 months at present but I do enjoy it more in Summer and would perhaps share a bottle each Friday with my husband. I can get a hangover from anything more than 2 glasses of wine! I do think Australia will increase my consumption... On a summer holiday we can go through a few bottles a day on a really bad day! JasonM
Every now and then I fancy a pint, generally when I am out for a meal and I find one more than enough, if I go for a second I never finish it so would be a waste, turn the clock back 10 years and the answer would have been totally different. rpakey
wine , beer or spirits and how often ...........? I know this is a bit sad! I drink a couple of pints a week, usually on a grumpy mens night out on a Thurs night, I actually prefer a nice COLD glass of milk or coke with my meal! cocolevi
I can go weeks without any drink and some weeks I'll have a glass of Red or a GnT of an evening. I go out with the girls about once a month for a drink sometimes more. I can't drink like I used to I really suffer with headaches now, joys of getting older

rpakey
Meant to say earlier, my (cough!) in laws, will do a bottle of wine per night minimum, then again, I would be driven to drink If I had me as a son-in-law!
cutchibear
Gosh, we are currently drinking more as we are at my parents and they like a glass of wine or two in an evening. When just us we try to be good and stick to the weekend for drinks...wine for me, beer for husband. But I too expect that to be harder to stick to once enjoying more warm evenings! Give me a break!
My OH is FIFO and does 26 days on 9 days off. So I have 26 days completely dry, then 9 days completely blotto! Only wine, red unless it's too hot then it's white and if it's very hot sparkling. Wine here is lovely especially Margaret River wine. jo and scott
Last time i had a drink was the day after Boxing Day, got quite tipsy on ginger wine, it doesn't take much these days, and I drunk the whole bottle! Before having kids I was working in London, I would drink Thursday / Friday / Saturday. And have an awful hangover. I can't handle drink any more. Much prefer a cuppa tea. Bibbs
I have a few drinks on a Friday and Saturday night. I rarely drink during the week, unless I've been doing some work in the afternoon. Like yesterday I did a few hours of gardening, so I had a drink when I finished. If there is sport on, I'll have a drink while watching it (at home, or at the venue). During the summer, I'll be out at friends or the park, I'll have a couple over lunch. But I can take or leave it. Sometimes I'll go a month or two without drinking at all.
Nikkis2000
Too much! We will have a drink most nights. I'll have a couple of glasses of wine and OH will have a couple of stubbies.

Rossmoyne
A glass of wine with dinner usually, unless I am going out and driving, then it is just bubbly water. I do like a very cold beer on a very hot day too. Having said that, this week has been a pig with some stuff going down family wise, topped off nicely yesterday by someone I thought was a good friend deciding to have a hissy fit and send me a rude email to terminate our friendship..... well that came out the blue.... so the one glass turned into a bottle.... hence the not feeling too good today I guess! Upside is that my Christmas card list is one less and I have more time to devote to my "real" friends. Note to self: "it might have been a good idea at the time, but try not to hit the bottle when life goes pear-shaped - not good for the kidneys or the head!" I've always found it to be a bad idea to drink when you're angry or upset- especially if it's gin! just an idea but maybe it's better to have a look at why the said "friend" decided to terminate the friendship before hitting the bottle- its only an opinion and I expect to be shot down for this...... Just don't email back after you've drank the bottle. Hope today is better.
