Yep thought I chose my friends wisely too and this was only a fairly new friend, but I really liked him and he seemed a nice genuine guy and really fitted in well with my family - he even spent Christmas with us and we all thought he was gorgeous, but he had loads of issues as he had recently "come out" and was dealing with that as well as stuff from his own family... so yes he was f****d in the head. As a family we thought we were supporting him, but obviously not. But guess we can all be wrong with our friend choices at times.
