The third party insurance on the temporary movement permit is the same as the rego insurance, it only covers for a third party person or persons getting injured, it does not cover any property damage what so ever, so you could end up getting sued for property damage, well worth getting insured before you do any movement.

We went with SGIO when we first arrived out of desperation as we struggled to find anyone who would insure an "import" but we knew they werent the cheapest, this year i decided to shop around, still struggled but eventually found Shannons, so I have switched to them, both are big reputable companies, so would recommend either of them
