OnOurWay
Airbnb is always worth a look. Different types of accommodation with a wide range of prices.
HoneyJackMonster
I've booked a week with a family in Hammond park on air bnb, very reasonable rates. Although starting to think a week to secure a rental property is way over ambitious! ....may have to ask about extending.
JasonM
Honey yeah I would, we was worried about finding somewhere after a few weeks so have booked 6 weeks at the let, I think someone on here rushed into a rental then didn't like it and was asking about getting out of it. Unless you are bang on for the area you want to live in. We are still undecided
verystormy
I would recommend longer than a week, though, if you don't mind being busy, two weeks should be plenty.
ali
I would say 4 weeks in a rental minimum
HoneyJackMonster
Don't mind being busy I'm there on my own for 24 days before my family fly over to get everything set up. But cheers guys gonna get another week booked for sure!
John S
We booked for 19 days and found a rental in that time and that was with us viewing a few properties and waiting for the perfect one. When it did come up we went for it and got it, so it is possible to get a permanent rental in a couple of weeks. We have used Tracey at ozhouserental.com twice. First for visa activation and then secondly when we moved over, Tracey was fantastic and very helpful. John.
katesunflower
We booked a holiday rental for 2 weeks and found a rental today, one week after arriving. Staying in a shared home is a great option, we have a studio and its a great idea as you always have someone to ask for advice and help. The lady we are staying with is lovely and had made us feel right at home.
