kirstywales
Hi all, I've tried to get to sleep on the plane but really struggle. I tried to use the relax and sleep hypnosis tracks last time and couldn't hear them over the loud white noise of the engine. Will noise cancelling headphones sort this? any recommendations, best budget wise thanks v much kirsty
Starjumper
My husband I have got the Bose Quiet Comfort ones. They are expensive, but I think they're worth every penny. I couldn't believe how noisy the engine seemed when I took them off! Compared to upgrades, it's a cheap way to a more comfortable flight. gar374
I have some audio technica ones that are in ear and they seem to knock out some of the noise of the train on the way to work, should work a treat on the plane and came with an adapter to plug into the planes socket thing for the entertainment on board. Quite a bit cheaper than bose too. Have a read online, some people really don't rate noise cancelling at all, others do. Don't expect silence, but it will reduce some of the drone. h283
Noise cancelling headphones are a must for me! I have some Sony ones and they block out about 70% of noise I'd say. Seems so noisy when I take them off! I also knock back a few Kwells before take off. They are travel sickness pills, so not only does it stop you feeling queasy if it is bumpy flight, they have the added bonus of making you drowsy. I swear by these for helping me nod off.
