jo and scott
thankyou ! we started this process in june 2013, we had to save each bit of money as we didn't have the money in the bank. our 189 visa was granted on 11th may 2015. we gave ourselves 2 years to do this, and wanted to be in perth before our daughter lauren started senior school, she was supposed to start on the 7th sept so we are just over our timescale. lauren hasn't started senior school. Our visa cost £8627.00.

benj1980
I recently went over to Dublin for a stag do. Missed the blinking flight due to traffic, so have learnt from that mistake. We are booked in overnight prior to take off as well. Going on an Airbus, liked them last time we went over! Who are you flying with? You might find Lauren doesn't start until February when she would start senior school here...she's going to be having one long holiday!!! If you want to meet for some play dates over the school holidays let me know! We can arrange to meet up with a few other families so she can make some friends. Louise Warwick
We've booked our flights for the 19th of October and are heading to Baldivis too, which is where I think I saw that your going to. What secondary school was you considering?

jo and scott
I'm Singapore Airways as well, extra luggage and the fact that I flew with them and was impressed last time, sold it for me. we have 30 kilos with Singapore airlines, I queried it with them that we should have 40 kilos as we are emigrating but they said no, it used to be 20 but it was upped to 30. I also queried laurens medical items that she needs, no extra allowance for that either !

Louise Warwick
Hi Jo, Sorry I haven't got back to you sooner. I've got three children aged 7, 10 and 12. We're thinking that we will probably send our son to Baldivis Secondary college if we decide to choose Baldivis but in reality we might not like it there when we get there. Might be worth ringing again - I got told normally 30kg but if you arrive 3 hours before show them your one way ticket and visa then they would up it to 40kg at the counter! I hope i got told the correct information - one of us hasn't got the correct response from Singapore Airlines :-/
