thankyou !

we started this process in june 2013, we had to save each bit of money as we didn't have the money in the bank.

our 189 visa was granted on 11th may 2015.

we gave ourselves 2 years to do this, and wanted to be in perth before our daughter lauren started senior school, she was supposed to start on the 7th sept so we are just over our timescale. lauren hasn't started senior school.

Our visa cost £8627.00.

When you get here Jo it'll only be 6 weeks till the kids break for the long summer holidays. You might find Lauren doesn't start until February when she would start senior school here...she's going to be having one long holiday!!! If you want to meet for some play dates over the school holidays let me know! We can arrange to meet up with a few other families so she can make some friends. [emoji4]

I recently went over to Dublin for a stag do. Missed the blinking flight due to traffic, so have learnt from that mistake. We are booked in overnight prior to take off as well. Going on an Airbus, liked them last time we went over! Who are you flying with?

oh no :-/ im glad we are staying the night before in the hotel, I do not fancy a mad rush in the morning, we are getting picked at at 1pm so my mum and a few other family members can see us off from home :-)

we are flying with Singapore airlines, so much to do at the airport, swimming then showers, food, 2 hour Singapore bus tour, butterfly park, and maybe a Singapore sling in raffles ;-)

so excited now :-))

oh wow ! lauren will love that, shes enjoying being off at the mo and its lovely having her home, she is doing some school work books from WH Smith, and she loves them ! think I may go back and get some for lucy too if they are going to be off for that long.

I would definitely love to meet up ! we are staying at penguin island view retreat which I don't think is too far from you :-)

I cant wait to fly out now, ive organised a couple of leaving do's, just need to finish the packing and sort out the shipping. xxx

I'm Singapore Airways as well, extra luggage and the fact that I flew with them and was impressed last time, sold it for me.

we have 30 kilos with Singapore airlines, I queried it with them that we should have 40 kilos as we are emigrating but they said no, it used to be 20 but it was upped to 30.

I also queried laurens medical items that she needs, no extra allowance for that either !

Might be worth ringing again - I got told normally 30kg but if you arrive 3 hours before show them your one way ticket and visa then they would up it to 40kg at the counter! I hope i got told the correct information - one of us hasn't got the correct response from Singapore Airlines :-/
