biscuits72
We are heading to Perth next month for a good look around and a holiday. We are staying in Cottlesoe then Mandurah. Looking for good value, family friendly options to eat out. Any recommendations please? TIA
verystormy
Cottesloe has a fair few places, but be prepared to pay $$$. Mandurah depends a bit on expectations. The Japanese is very good and very good value. There are loads of cafes along the foreshore for lunch. Around the marina there are also lots of restaurants and cafes. rpakey
How about: Vans in Cottesloe high st, or opposite it is a new burger place (sorry, cannot recall its name...oops) Freemantle- look up Cicerello's fish and chips, and there are a couple of other places nearby There used to be a good Indian on Mosman Park main rd (Stirling highway) not sure if it is still there Or, are good old barby at home- meat is pretty good (but premium) from the Boat Shed in Cott
Raychelsb
We enjoy the ravens wood tavern a few km's out of Mandurah. Also, cafe 158 for a nice brekky in Mandurah. And cicerellos in Mandurah, which is cheaper than the freo one, and lovely views too.
Anthony
If you are in Subiaco try Chutney Mary's on Rokeby Road. Don't let appearances put you off its lovely. Highly recommended.
New Life Down Under
John St Cafe Cott is good for brekkie and brunch. Clancys City Beach is a beer pub with a great sunset view and casual (not cheap though)

JohnDo
My favourites are Friends restaurant and Petition. you can find other good value restaurants depending on your preference, whether you are looking for a simple place or fine dining.
