stephanie1982
Mine is also going to be presented to the board possibly because I can't meet the caseloading criteria! I was told end of Jan beginning of Feb!
louloubelle
What criteria would you not meet @stephanie1982? I wouldn't mind all this waiting if I knew it was going to be a positive outcome but the longer it goes on the worse I feel!!!
stephanie1982
It is the caseloading criteria of evidence of 10 caseload cases in training! I only had 5 although I worked in a model that was caseloading!
stephanie1982
It is the continuity of care experiences section!
louloubelle
Ah I see that section is not there for nurses so that's why I was confused!!!

louloubelle
That's rubbish @pegg, did they not say why they needed an extension?? Mine is not straight forward because of my qualifications so every day that goes by I just think the worst, I'm not good at being patient

shaunfreo
Hi All its gone to board because after initial assessment of application there may have been some query regarding if you meet the minimum requirements for registration, so the board have the final decision, its often if you have a diploma and you have topped up with either a BSc or MSC which is not obviously directly nursing related (although it may have contained modules which are nursing related that is what the board will look at and decide) I would suspect since ANMAC came into line with AHPRA in regard to minimum requirements it will be the same story there Also another downer here in WA for nurses due to the Government deficit blowout of 3 billion $ there is a minimum 6 month freeze on all public sector appointments including nurses and midwives only police and teachers are exempt anyway good luck hope it all works out for you all
