Reccie to Perth / Freo in June - meet up?

Hi All,

We are out on a proper reccie in June (Arrive June 19 depart July 2) we'd like to meet up with people who have already made the move or also out on reccies. We're going to be saying in Freo renting a property for the two weeks. We'll have (one of my two children) my 15 son with us this time, they will be emigrating with us. So be nice for him to maybe meet some other teenagers (he's into climbing, music and Xbox).

It looks like your going to be on the wrong side of the river for climbing gyms though, climbing gyms fremantle - Google Maps but i am sure there are other places to have boulder, you might find something here Climbing Links.

Thank you Bob, really appreciate you taking the time to give us info, we appreciate it. We're going to do a reccie round the area down as far as Rockingham and to the east Roleystone. Our criteria really is to be within 50 minutes of Perth city - where we are likely to be working, but also within reasonable distance of national park land etc. Plus somewhere that Alex my son can get to for climbing.
