Recommendations for Electric, gas and broadband providers

Hi everyone,

 

We made the move 2 weeks ago It's been a crazy couple of weeks, we've bought a car, found a rental and I started work a week ago! We are loving it! I can't explain how amazing it is to wake up every morning knowing it's going to be a lovely day.

 

We're moving in to our rental next week and I'm just wondering if anyone can recommend or tell me how to go about sorting out electricity, gas and broadband? I've heard there aren't many to choose from but any guidance will be appreciated.

 

We're also looking for white goods and a TV if anyone has any for sale.

In Perth there is only one electricity supplier and that is Synergy. https://www.synergy.net.au/

 

There are 2 gas suppliers:

Alinta Gas - http://www.alintaenergy.com.au

Kleenheat Gas - http://www.kleenheat.com.au

 

Telephone/internet providers are many. Telstra is the national provider, but there are many besides Telstra so just do a google of "internet providers Perth" and have a look at them all. I personally use iinet at the moment, but have been with Telstra and Optus in the past.

 

If you are looking for second hand white goods and TV, check out Gumtree. If you are looking for new items, then there are many electrical stores around and if you are buying multiple items, you can bargain for a discount or free delivery. Look at Good Guys, Retrovision, Harvey Norman, Kambos, JB Hifi.
