Mrsr1976
Hi just wondering what kind of social stuff people get up to in the winter in Perth? Do people go to bars/pubs/ cinema/ eat out? Are there clubs in the city centre of Perth? I remember from the last time we visited at this time of year things seem very quiet in the evenings but that maybe just the places we've stayed!! Everything seems to shut fairly early too especially on Sundays. We went to Hillary 's boat harbour tonight and that was busy with an ice rink set up but I guess that because it's still the school hols until tomorrow! Is that the kind of place that people visit for the evening regularly or do people go to bars with mates? Don't get me wrong ...I don't hang out at the pub all the time in the UK ? but just wondering on the differences and similarities. ..? Bibbs
Summer - Beach, parks, BBQ's by the river. Winter - Bars, resturants, friends houses. There are a few late bars/clubs. Try Northbridge. Or Freo has a couple too. I, personally, tend to stay in the city/Northbridge area for Friday/Saturday drinks. It's cheap to grab an Uber home etc. and there are always new places popping up.
