verystormy
It could be worse. I am in the highlands today - for an outdoor meeting! It is 60-70mph winds, torrential rain, temperature of about 4c and we may even get snow. But it is still incredibly beautiful

It was 8 deg there 25 deg in Cornwall. I never ever let John forget it either as it was his idea. It drizzled constantly but the scenery was amazing ..... verystormy
Guessing you are both stocking up on thermal undies then Stormy!! Yep, though the house is very warm - we haven't even had the heating on yet! The countryside makes up for the cold though anyway. When my wife walks to the shops, she goes past waterfalls, woods and rolling hills.
verystormy
My daughter has arrived in the UK from Rome - she says it's peeing down Most of the UK will have showers today and tomorrow - though our part of Scotland should be dry tomorrow, pretty much all of the UK will be dry and sunny on sunday. So, if she is sight seeing, I would tell her to do the indoor stuff until Sunday. If she is in London, then maybe Madame Toussords and the planetarium or some of the museums.
