Kaiandtaryn
Hi Perth Poms, Great news! I was granted PR last week. The plan is to activate the visa in April 2017. I was just wondering, it's probably a daft question but do I need to obtain a card or stamp of some sort to prove I have PR or is it all done electronically according to my passport number? My head is going 100 miles an hour. Best Regards, Kai

Pommie
its electronically attached to your passports. If you re-new or change your passports then you would need to migrate your visa across, but otherwise, there is nothing to do.... enjoy - where about's are you hoping to live ?? benj1980
Yep electronic make sure you have a good amount of date in your passport. We've seen people frantically trying to renew their passport and transfer their visa last minute. No one needs that additional stress! Oh and congratulations! Rossmoyne
At one stage in years past, you could apply for a visa sticker to go in your passport..... once it was free... and then it was a cost... not sure if they do it now. Might be worth looking into if you need physical confirmation to make you feel more settled.
