Flight question quicky ?

Hey just a quicky …. So we where looking to book a trip to the UK a year from now ( or bit less ) - Anyhow just wondered - as in the UK we got best price from internet etc - then went to travel agent to book - choose seats etc.

 

So question is - am i best to do all on line or can we go to agent …… Also any recomendations - where NOR .

I would try both. Pop into flight centre to see what they can offer, but, from my experience you will get the best deal booking on line.

If you collected air miles with your flight over, it might be worth flying with the same airline to accrue the air miles as you would be surprised how many you can get. When I was working fifo, I managed to upgrade myself to first class twice and send my wife to the UK return.

When I booked my flight back for next May, I rang flight centre advised them of the prices I could get online and she said they could'nt beat the on price I was given. She did advise me of the very cheapest price I could get from them for that time of year and said if I could get it cheaper online then I was doing OK. The prices to fly from Perth back to the UK seems so extorinate I wanted to make sure I was getting the best deal I could without too many stop overs.

 

For the time of year I am going I found Qatar the cheapest.

Check skyscanner.net , It looks across airlines and you can then filter on options. Pretty reasonable at the minute, about $1,000/$1200 return

yes Skscanner has been our main tool ……. we have ages yet but just thinking in advance )

Be aware, as a rule of thumb, flight get more expensive as time goes on.
