JobyJo
It's been a long journey but we have finally been granted our 189 visas. Arriving in Perth early September and looking NOR. We know it will have its stresses but as a family of 4 we are ready to take the challenge. Twin 14 year old sport mad boys are super excited. Onwards and upwards! Any advice for new arrivals gratefully received....
Denise
Congratulations !..very exciting for you all. We are a family of four, boys are a bit younger than yours but we can highly recommend suburbs from Hilary's up. We are in Burns Beach and it's gorgeous, just depends what you are comfortable with, we came from a small town near the Cotswolds so don't like living in the City..my commute is an hour as I work at the Apt but I've always been used to a fairly long commute..great schools, parks everywhere and the coast Rd runs all the way up with bike tracks and cafes..wouldn't swap it for the world !..hope that helps a bit ?

ktg
We've been here since nov16 and beginning to feel at home!! There are still the ups and downs but that would happen back in UK too. We have 3 daughters (10,7 &2) and although they were excited to come they found settling at school a little tricky. They're half way through school year and seem to be doing well. We live NOR in Tapping and really like it. It's close to joondalup for shopping great access to roads for north and south and not too far from beach (20 min drive). There are notices all around about different sporting groups and I'm sure the school would have flyers about local group/clubs. Good luck My brothers sister-in-law and family are arriving in a couple of weeks. So many making the move with families but we think it's the best move and once we feel financially stable we'll be able to enjoy it more!
Jen78
Congratulations and best of luck for your move. We came 6 months ago with 14 and 10 year old girls. The older one settled quicker than the younger one, I thought it would be the other way round! At least your boys will have each other to begin with and with being sporty will make friends in no time. We are SOR and are loving it, we settled really quickly and the time has flown. Not working has enabled me to volunteer at the primary school and make friends that way. If you want to meet up in Perth sometime, pm me and we can arrange something if you want? Best of luck x
