Recommended Posts

Hi there,

been here a year and half now, wife and kids came earlier they've been here around  3 years. My wife being English but growing up in Perth has a nice network of family and friends.

I have too made some friends but would love to meet some poms now and establish some lasting friendships!!

we are in our 30s with two kids. Really hope some people from around the Harrisdale area reach out who are also looking for some good buddies!!!

hope to chat soon!

Hi all would love to meet a couple from UK we are in our early 50s we have been in Perth 9 years spend most of our time working & looking after grand kids we have been bitten after rushing into meeting a crowd that have been in Perth 25 years but felt we could not fit in to their circle of close friend ship so walked away a couple of years ago we are ready to find new loyal friends so we can socialize over a drink & have a good old chat .

Hi Tracey We've been in Perth a couple of months and are located NOR, where are you guys? We're early 50's and had a big circle of mates back in the UK that we're missing, probably me more so (men sometimes need dragging out!). I'm around in the week sometimes too if you fancy a coffee. It's tough meeting genuine friends and even harder as you get older when your kids have grown up, much easier to meet people when you have kids at school.

Hi Lizzy thank you so much for getting back . Yes we also had a circle of friends in the UK so was a massive shock trying to make friends here it’s not as easy as we thought. We live in Victoria park South of the river. We lived in Milton Keynes a village called Stony Stratford in the UK where did you live in the UK? Where are you up North of the river ?
