Evidence of purchases

Hi Aussiebird,

We included invoices for household products in our application as I did feel it was evidence of our shared household. The invoices were only in one of our names, though it was mixed up with some in my partners name, some in mine etc. We use our solo bank accounts but share out payments, so I just annotated the bank statements with anything relevant and provided a couple of evidence pieces attached to each one, such as these invoices or travel bookings etc.

We only applied in March 2019 though and are still waiting our decision, so who knows if we have done it okay 🙂

Visa supporting documentation is getting more complicated, and I can only guess that you have been proactive.   Well done.

Thank you very much, I appreciate that so much! I have been very thorough as to me they want to see evidence that we are living together and buying things for our home that we share etc.....so we keep receipts for purchases such as our new sofa invoice,  new cooker and dishwasher etc...as you say it should be evidence under household/commitment.....
