Joey55
Hi, we are a family of 4 looking to move in November this year. We are looking for a short term rental on arrival in the Fremantle region if anyone knows of any availability. Ideally would like to stay until mid January before we start looking at long term rentals. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated
FOL
Just use airbnb or gumtree.com.au
DoctorMum
Hi - we arrived a couple of days ago and currently in an AirBnB for 3 weeks. we are only temporarily relocating for 6 months and have viewed a few flats and it looks like the minimum lease is 6 months, unless you can find someone privately. The viewings are slightly different here - you find the properties online and they will have an "inspection time" for viewings, its like an open day where there are other people viewing as well. Good luck!
baggytrousers
We live near Fremantle (Mosman Park) and there do seem to be a few rentals on the market at the moment. There's probably half a dozen reasonable houses on the market within a couple of hundred yards of us at the mo which is really unusual as it's a sought after area. Not sure how it will be in November though as it is a bit of a weird Perth thing that it all goes quiet in the winter so there might well be a lot more people looking come the summer. I'd echo the comment about Gumtree. Less choice on there and you may have to look at some dodgy properties but there's also some quite decent ones on there through private landlords which might be a lot more flexible than the official sites which is all Estate Agents. Perthpoms.com is about Perth Australia, not Perth Scotland. It's (almost) summer in November

It’s quite now because it’s winter now (Southern Hemisphere) but in November there will be more people looking as it’s coming into summer. That’s been my experience anyhow
