smallpotato
Hi All, I have been moved to Hillarys for 2 years and happy to call it my "Home". I am doing research about schools in Hillarys area for my two kids. If any one can give suggestion/advice that would be highly appreciated  1) Hillarys Primary school From my neighbour, it was a pretty good school 15 years ago (their kids went there and now all adults) but not too sure how it is now. I met someone from same background telling me there is a kind of hidden racist in the school, which makes me worried. I would say my background (skin colour, language ect ) is rare in Hillarys. As a parent, I believe no one wants his/her kid being treated differently in a bad way. So could anyone share some update about this school? How is the vibe/diversity there ? 2) St Marks It is a private school which is more pricey comparing to public school. People from same background said coz it is a Anglican school, racist is not observed so far. There are definitely more opportunities for kids, like they can choose to learn the 2nd language from year 2 and more options on learning musical instruments. However, I am not an anglican - would it make the enrol be a problem ? I know no place is perfect but want to hear more voice /update from different people. Thank you.
