Guest l welthy
Hi I have only just joined this forum, so sorry if this has been asked before. My wife is a registered Nurse and we are hoping to move to perth by getting a sponser for her nusre job. I understand that I will be able to come over with her,but do I need to apply for any visa, or do I get one as I am her husband. Thanks Lee
Admin
Hi You would apply as a secondary applicant. As you would be a member of the primary visa applicant’s family unit, you could make a combined application for the subclass 457 visa at the same time your wife (the primary visa applicant) submits the application Alternatively, if you were a member of the family unit of a person who had already been granted a subclass 457 visa (the primary visa holder) and you were applying for grant of a subclass 457 visa to join the primary visa holder in Australia, then you must complete a separate visa application. In either case, you will be assessed for grant of a subclass 457 visa against the secondary requirements. Have a look @ http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/booklets/books9.pdf
