Guest beanyeva
i am getting a bit confused with the visa's available. My occupation is on the skills in demand list so is a 457 visa and sponsorship the best option. i want to go newly qualified so I probably wouldn't have enough points for permanent migration to start with. Any advice would be really appreciated Louise:mad:
verystormy
It depends on your situation. 457 is the route that i am on and it has its pluses and negatives. There are some big tax breaks available, but the down side is that if you lose your job you only have 28 days to find another or leave the country. Also, sponsership is easy in some jobs and very hard to get in others. What do you do?

verystormy
I am a geologist. Afraid i wouldnt know the likely hood of obtaining sponsorship. I would contact organisations here and sound them out, but health care tends to do well
