Guest stevieb
Hi Atlime Welcome to the forum. The requirements that an employee has to meet for a 457 visa (employer sponsored), can be found at http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/skilled-workers/sbs/eligibility-employee.htm
ali
The employer has to meet certain criteria, has to employ a certain number of people (I think) and also prove they can't fill the vacancy with an Australian. PR doesn't automatically follow from a 457 - you have to meet the skilled visa criteria in order to apply for that (and the occupation being on the respective skills list). Good luck with the sponsorship.
