Guest Leanne&Mike
Hello Everybody, Thought it was about time we registered on here, been 'lurking' for a while now getting some good advice and tips on the visa application process and getting very excited about the prospect of living in Perth! So a bit about us... My name is Leanne and my partners name is Mike, both 26, engaged to be married and just starting out on the long and windy road to paradise. We have visited Australia before on a working holiday visa but never made it to WA. We are just going to pack up and give it a go which is a very exciting and daunting prospect. We have no children, we don't own our own home, no pets and both of our families live overseas. Its just us and our couple of knackered old VW's to go. We are applying for visa 176 and literally at the very first hurdle...the IELTS test (3rd Sept) and TRA skills assessment! We are 'going alone' as far as the application process is concerned, we both feel we have the time and the patience to do it ourselves as we are in no rush (the longer it takes the more money we save!) but at the same time we'd do anything to be there right now!! It has been so helpful to read posts by all of you about living down under, its an adventure we can't wait to begin! Thanks for Reading
