Guest fultonclan
Can anyone give me an approx cost of shipping a medium sized dog over to Perth? I know lots of companies vary in price but just after a rough idea. Thanks ever so much xxx

Guest fultonclan
Hi paulswin, would you mind telling me what that covers? Is it just the flight?
Guest Anouska
Hi We are flying our Sealyham terrier (Scottish terrier size) it costs £1'350 plus 4 weeks quarantine in Perth. We are using "transfur" they have been great so far, her crate was delivered this week so she can get use to it before she flys. Good luck Anouska

Guest paulswin
Wow that seems cheap are you sure that includes quarantine? The price i've been quoted is everything except quarantine and blood tests. They sort out all the paperwork.

I know that the price depends a lot on the size of the dog. If you haven't booked your pet transport then give "Transfur" a call and ask for a quote. Guest Doozclump
we are looking into shipping our Scottie and the rough prices vary alot but think it will be around £1500-£2000 for him.
djb007
Hi I can reccomend Transfur we have paid £2,900 for 2 Shizu dogs the help they have given us in advance has been invaluable. This does not include vets bills or quarenteen fees. Regards Darrell.
Geordie Lass
Can anyone give me an approx cost of shipping a medium sized dog over to Perth? I know lots of companies vary in price but just after a rough idea. Thanks ever so much xxx Hi, I am shipping my Westie dog at a cost of £2400 (not incl. blood tests or quarantine) - this is through Airpets @ Heathrow Airport. Very helpful - I have already booked them up - they sort out the flights and book quarantine, they also collect your pet from your home and transport it back to the where they are based @ Heathrow - excellent value!! Hope that helps.
Guest Stu
We shipped our Westie, which like Geordie Lass it did not include the blood tests or quarantine but did include the tax, vet for sealing the container etc. It was a bout 2300 a year ago. All the agents we looked at offered or exlcuded different things which I worked out meant they are were all within about 200 of each other. Remember the quarantine was about $1300 (from memory) and while you can visit the times are limited. A number of people got a walker in through the kennels but that was at a horrendous price. We ended up going for Airpets because they picked her up and drove her down to Edinburgh, which none of the rest would do. (Remember, do not get the Leptospira booster jab as it can show up as a false positive in the blood tests.)
Guest hallys
Hi there We used Golden arrow too, they where excellant we had problems with the lepto blood tests coming back positive so it took us 6 months to get our welsh terrier to perth he stayed with our inlaws but golden arrow just kept changing his flight and never charged us any extra they chrged us about 1500 pound and we paid for blood tests and quaratine. I think they changed the flight 4 times. Speak to Chris or Steve high recommend them :-)
