Guest carlieanne
Hi all Me and oh are making our way out to perth next yr all visas sorted now we just have to make our minds up if we have a baby here or wait till we get to perth. I have a pretty crazy medical history and unfortunatly have had some pretty hard times when it comes to having a baby consquently need asprin and constant mointoring while preggers, so just wanted some advise as to what the level of care is their? will it be easy to get the support i need? and has any one else had problems in pregnancy during or after and found perth hospitals/doc/nurses etc to be just as good as the uk. Just cant make our minds up cant wait to get to perth but just want to make sure im not going to risk the chance of having a healthy baby this time??? sorry I know its a pretty deep post but thought some of u guys mite have some words of wisdom ta folks Carlie
ali
King Edwards is an excellent hospital for perinatal and post natal care, you wouldn't have any problems. However, having had high risk pregnancies myself, it's sometimes reassuring to be with a consultant who knows you and your history and who you have confidence in. Additionally, consider the level of support you would have in the UK (if any) against the level of support in Aus - again familiarity and having family/friends around you can be reassuring at a stressful time. Guest carlieanne
Thanks Ali I know what you mean I have such a great group of consultants round me who will wrap me in cotton wool so maybe the uk is the way to go, we are just so eager to get over to perth to get our lives started.
