Like SunnyWA I also don't like to give away too much info but I am also in that group! I am new to perth Ann, so stay in touch and let us know how you get on

Thanks for the reply, hope you are settling in perth well, i hope to make the move by June next year all being well, i am doing the 143 parent visa and lodged papers so just awaiting a co. All a bit stressful and doing it alone seems no easier as i suppose a partner is helpful for support...... but then again maybe they add to the stress as there's double the worry with medicals and cost. I will keep in touch and let you know how i am doing. I think at the moment i shall be settling south of the river Baldivis way. I work in age care and i have been informed there's plenty of work, also thinking of AIN ( assistant in nursing) then maybe training for the state enrolled nursing. Have to see when i get over there. hubby in that group and I am not so far behind

felt also very old in forums as well

I usually read the parent visa threads and most on there are my age or a little younger or older i am 54yrs, not many though seem to be going it alone, but i do enjoy reading the threads of young famillies going over there it's great to get caught up in the excitement. Hope you have settled over there if you have already made the move. Ann
