Guest Villa
Hi all, Just wondering if anyone fancies finding somewhere to watch this on Saturday afternoon? I believe kick off is 3:30pm. Still very new to Perth so not sure who will be showing it or where the best place is to go but I'm open to ideas. Be good to meet up with a few new people as well. Hope to hear from you, Steve
Guest Stu
I was thinking the same thing. Where about are you? I was thinking maybe the Windsor.

Guest Stu
Phil, would your good lady be joining us? It might be easier for me to get a pass if Kelly got to come too and there were going to be other females kicking about ?
Guest Ali_M
We would love to join you as well, although don't know where the Windsor is. We are in Sorrento. We also have 2 kids in tow, so may not be feasible for us both to be there. However, I will happily give my husband a pass in return for future brownie points! Guest John1983
I'd be up for watching it in the city somewhere. Would Moon and Sixpence be showing it? Or one of the Irish pubs?

Hi Stu, I'm in Bayswater but can go anywhere. I'll be working round the corner from the Windsor (dangerous) and it looks pretty good. Ali Hi Ali, The Windsor's in South Perth. It's a nice pub but I'm not sure how child friendly it is. Seeing as it's in the middle of the afternoon, it'd be good to find somewhere that accommodates everyone!

The Moon and Sixpence will definitely have it on but I don't remember seeing a big screen (could be wrong though). Haven't been to many others in the city but it does seem like it would be a good meeting point for all.

Guest John1983
I'd imagine Rosie O'Grady's will have it on too, failing that im sure it will be on in a pub in Northbridge somewhere.

Guest Villa
Makes no difference who's in the final! Any excuse! I see. Might be worth avoiding the larger venues then. Maybe the initial idea of the Windsor is a pretty good call.
Guest tjmid
Hey guys Mind if I join you Saturday? Fairly new to Perth and havent found anyone to watch Rugby with who actually wants to watch the match. Itd also be good to meet some new people. Let us know where you decide to go. Guest Stu
Good point about the AFL final, didn't even register with me. Is it the final final or the final before the final final (still haven't figured it out). I just suggested the windsor as its fairly handy for me, and I was thinking of sweetening the deal with the OH by getting dinner afterwards. Not sure about kids, but there is the verandah (depending on the weather) or probably through the back in the would be ok. They do have kids menus so I assume there ok

Guest Stu
Just phoned the Windsor to see if they we're showing it. They seemed a little unsure, but they said they would probably try and get both games on, on different screens, depending on the crowd and the channels. I think the AFL starts at 12:30 and the rugby starts at 3:30. No idea how long the Grand Final goes on for (or any AFL match for that matter) but I'd think it would be over by the time the rugby kicks off.
