I know no one will care but ..

.. getting divorced in WA is a ball ache. All the forms have different requirements to the rest of Australia.

So don't download the Australia ones and fill them in, as you'll have to do it all over again.

Also don't try and transfer ownership of a car you forgot to rego 5 months ago. They don't like that. They tend to fine you and you have to put the car over the pits and hand your plates back.

Went to the osteopath back in Jersey last year but for my back...not been here yet...I think it could be to do with my feet. I'm flat footed and it's worse on that side so I should probably book an appointment with a chiro. I just always seem to put myself last...

If you haven't already sort yourself out some health insurance with extras. Make sure the extras cover things like Chiro, Podiatry and Remedial Massage and has waivers on the waiting periods. Then get yourself down there ASAP.

As well as the Chiro I recommend you see a podiatrist too. If your feet are the source of the issue they may be able to help with things like acupuncture and orthotics which will help with the back pain over time. They seem to be so much more set up for things like this round here. Just make an appointment and go, no referral or anything is needed.

I'm NOR but can recommend an awesome podiatrist in Stirling - sorted my Plantar Fascilitis a treat!

Thanks guys.

It went well, but I don't think I can take it even if they offer it. It is commission only, but commission isn't paid for a sale until it is slab down. That means we would need to live and work for nothing for up to 9 months. Back to the drawing board.

Shame dude but you'd be beating yourself up for 9+ months if you took it and learn to hate the job so best back away from that one.

Crack on with the catering and move yourself ever on towards the space you want to be. You know my thoughts on the matter - get yourself some premises near the airport and go for it.

IKNWC but MIL got her UK visitors visa after a 4 weeks wait!! Turns out the Visa office were trying to deliver her passport back to her in Port Elizabeth... however she livs in Port Alfred....AARGH!

I can now relax and countdown the days till 18th July when she arives and takes charge of my house, children and her son! I can kick back and unwind and enjoy her amazing cooking and organisational skills. It will almost be like having my own move manager in-house to take all the stress out of migrating. I am truly blessed to have a MIL I love and get on so well with!:jiggy:

That's rubbish!!! I'd be asking what more they want to secure a conviction. It's probably more that it's not worth the effort to prosecute!

That's absolutely pathetic, what more do they need to convict him.

That's awful. I think the system is incredibly flawed. I don't think they bother with a lot of habitual criminals because after all the effort bringing a case to court, all they get is a slap on the wrist or a fine that they pay from their benefits at a pound a week. They seem to have lost sight of the impact on the victims though. I can't imagine how much more evidence they could have needed to get a conviction? X

He must have the patience of a saint...? The waiting is killing me! I'm waking every hour or two to check my email from about 2am onwards

Thanks guys. Onward and upward.

Porty. Looked at the airport but it's a no go. They would only allow it in areas a long way from the terminals and it would be subject to huge fees. The flip side is there is a massive market about to open in mandurah that is specifically for artisan food products. So that is where we are headed. It opens in September.
