Rob t would love to say xmas but it all depends what my doctor says as I have a plaster my foot /leg on for the next 9 wks so it may be feb. we stay with our son in Mindarie but will hopefully be moving over , when visa given, later on in the year 2014 fingers crossed

Oh dear sorry to hear that and Xmas Day will be here in just less than 9 weeks. Wish you all the best with your leg and with your Visa success for next year. Are you coming out on a Parent Visa or maybe a retirement Visa?

IKNWC BUT I AM OFFICIALLY ADICTED TO PP SITE. IT'S THE FIRST THING I DO WHEN I WAKE UP, I CHECK IT AT LUNCHTIME AND AGAIN IN THE EVENING. MY OH SAYS THE IPAD IS MY BEST MATE! I STAY UP WAY TOO LATE EVERY NIGHT READING THREADS AND CHECKING RESPONSES. IF THERE HAVE BEEN NO NEW COMMENTS I FEEL DISAPPOINTED AND CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHY NO ONE HAS WRITTEN ANYTHING!

Is anyone else like this or am I alone in my addiction?:swoon:

I am an addict as well, I had to stop myself from logging in this morning to reply to you because it would've made me late for work

Did you know she can get free roadside assistance from the RAC in any car she's driving?

rob T a parent visa , costing the price of a house nearly !!!

So I've heard. There is a 'non-contributory Parent Visa' that you could've applied for instead you know and that is FOC from memory. I think that the current waiting / processing time though is 22 years!!

IKNWC but I'm just dusting off the broomstick for tonights Halloween disco at the kids school- as a member of the PTA I am obliged to dress up too- which just adds fuel to my OH theory of me being a witch......!

If you can't find a broomstick, I think the step-mother-in-law has a spare tonight. She's sent the flying monkeys out for pizza.

IKNWC but I have spent most of this week wondering if it's slightly wrong/mental to be happy that in 10 weeks time I will be voluntarily homeless, and unemployed, in a foreign country!

Lol ... not at all Nikkis and equally there won't be anything wrong when you get a bit tearful either.

Not at all. It's a very brave step on your way to a new life. Enjoy the ups, learn from the downs and keep a sense of humour.
