portlaunay
....... i'm feeling a little smug (ladies will relate) that my hubby said "I've been thinking" and I knew that it was something I'd planted ages ago, which has grown into his idea. Hah, we watched 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding' and there's a great bit that portrays this brilliantly. Mrs p is undoubtedly the master of this
ali
I think it's a girl thing, I know that if I really want something I don't go on about it .. hubs is a bit stubborn and digs his heels in, this new project has been months in the making ... feeling very pleased with myself Edited October 27, 2013 by ali

Happy little Vegemite
Oh no, hope your little one doesn't suffer too badly and that the rest of you have already had it or don't catch it. Mine both had it last Christmas and were really quite poorly for a couple of days If you lived in Oz they would've been immunised against it Have fun catching up with your friends! odies
Can I ask a question ? of all the times I have been over I have not seen a funeral taking place, over in the uk when travelling about I always see one. What happens over there ? and I do not think I have seen a cemetry either. Do not want to sound to morbid sorry.

We even have Women only Funeral Directors! Dont think I ever saw an advert on the tv for Funeral Directors in the UK! Strange but getting used to seeing them now! Akasully2
Odies, the fact you say you see funerals all the times in the uk when you go out, makes you sound like the grim reaper! Please remind me not to go out when you do!!! As you have never seen one in Oz, I'll wait to meet you there!

Guest guest9824
Head to Pinnaroo .. it's massive. Few big places out on the Leech Highway towards Freo as well. I know its depressing, but as far as crematoriums go, the one just outsdie Freo is beautiful, not grim and depressing like the Uk, a beautiful place to be able to say goodbye to someone!
