IKNOWC buuuuut it looks like midwives from EU will only be supervised for 3 months now and not 12 woooohooooo now I'm bloody happy about that!!!

I hope it returns to no supervision as I think it's silly to restrict us on what kind if midwife we want to be by new rules BUT this has made me super happy!!!

Thats great news Jenna x

IKNOWC applied for Medicare this morning and processed so quickly I was amazed. Lovely staff at the Mandurah office and I was given an additional form for Medicare Safety Net for Families which I'll complete and pop back to them tomorrow.

The girls start at their new school tomorrow so today was spent buying stationery, lunchboxes and back packs. I now need to get my butt into gear and find a job as OH not sure his contract will be renewed when it finishes on 17 December so need to get earning.... I've had a lovely 2 weeks away from the work front - but really need to keep busy!

IKNOWCB I am in the middle of a wonderful two weeks being tour guide to friends from England..... we used to be neighbours - houses backed onto each other - and we have kept in contact for 24 years - I have seen them each time I have been back in Sussex. But recently they had an inheritance and decided to spend it on a holiday to "Downunder".... been so good showing them around my part of the world and it has made me realise yet again, how very very lucky I am to live here.... We are all having a "rest day" today to catch up with washing, chores, emails etc, but the "Tour Guide Hat" is on again tomorrow and we are heading south to Rockingham and Mandurah for the day. Been so busy doing all the city stuff... Swan Valley...Freo. Thursday is Maritime Museum time and Friday is a "sloth at home around the pool time and shove everything in a suitcase" kinda day as they leave early on Saturday. Going to miss them but had a fantastic time. "Big sigh"!!
