Just been in the ocean for the first time since being here.

Until today, I have just worn my shorts and had a paddle whilst the boys frolicked in it. However, after coming back from Nippers this morning with the ocean looking stunning with the sun hot on my back, I decided today was the day. The cossie was coming out.

It was chilly as I first went in but I quickly adjusted. I turned to look at the beach from the water. Oh my word, it took my breath away at how stunningly beautiful it was. The sky was a deep blue and the ocean was turquoise blue/green. The sand was white, it set off the surf life guards in their glowing red/yellow uniforms perfectly. It made remember why I wanted to come to Australia in the first place, in search of the perfect beach. Later when I was sunning myself in the shorty deckchair, looking out to the water, I actually sent up a thanks to God for making such a beautiful place and making me feel so relaxed and happy. A blessing to be sure.

Life can be so good hey. I was down in Dunsborough the weekend before this past one. I was the same, standing in the crystal clear sea, the bluest of skies, and saying out loud, "this is what life is all about".
