Anybody playing golf regularly at Glen Iris or Melville Glades?

Looking for a regular game of golf again - at weekends due to work interference!

Played Glen Iris last week funnily enough. First time out for a full 18 holes since last October. Hit and 86 with an 8 on the card. Greens poor, very slow and looking tired. Would not be my choice of a course for a regular game if you really like your golf. Better options in Perth than that course.

My hubby sometimes plays Glen Iris and he plays golf most weekends and has also recently played at a course near to the airport but I can't remember what it was called, he got a voucher from scoopon to play there and it was really good value.

We live in Beeliar so Glen Iris is close to us but he plays with friends that live in Madeley and Tuart Hill so is happy to play most places. I think they are playing on Sunday this weekend but I will let you know if you would like me to?

Hi Jillie14

Yeah let me know where they are playing and if they have a spare slot that would be great. I'm looking to play SOR mainly as I live in Leeming.

Hi there Tom, they didn't play at the weekend, but I will let you know next time they do and you can join them. It may be in a couple of weeks as my parents arrive from the UK this week so we have plans for the next couple of weekends but I will keep you posted.

Born in Auld Reekie, then lived in Aberdour, Dalgety Bay and Lundin Links. The pub is the Railway Inn in Lower Largo. I go back every year for around 5 months. Kept a place in Lundie and still a member of the Lundin golf course. Cannot do a year here it would do my head in.

I was also born in Auld Reekie, I still have my place in Dalgety Bay and was a member at Aberdour Golf Club! Small world.
